Kathy Duffy, MAcOM, LAc, LMT
I practice Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medicine, Massage and Ayurvedic Bodywork. I welcome a wide variety of patients into my practice–from expecting moms with discomforts of pregnancy to those suffering Austin’s ubiquitous seasonal allergies to athletes training for competitions to those suffering from repetitive strain issues due to computer use.
I have advanced Medical Massage training for treating Frozen Shoulder, Tension Headaches, TMJ disorders, and other neck & shoulder disorders. I have a special interest in treating these and other pain issues, working to address both the physical and the emotional components of chronic pain. I often incorporate massage, cupping, gua sha, and other manual therapies into my acupuncture treatments. And my massage sessions incorporate my training in Muscular Therapy, Myofascial Therapies, Ayurvedic Bodywork, Tuina / Chinese Medical Massage, and Structural Integration based Medical Massage. I also provide Pediatric Tuina for digestive issues and train parents in techniques to practice on their children at home. Read more about my approach here: https://rosewoodacupuncture.com/massage/
